The Middlesex County Long Term Recovery Group was established in response to the effects of the Super Storm Sandy disaster to coordinate assistance to those experiencing loss or damage.
The Middlesex County Long Term Recovery Group, a non profit organization registered with the State of New Jersey, was formed in response to the needs of Middlesex County residents after Super Storm Sandy. The group is comprised of local nonprofit organizations along with representatives from many local municipalities and county level offices. The group is governed by an elected Board of Directors with day to day operations being facilitated by a hired staff including a Director, Associate Director, Construction Coordinator, Case Managers and Resource Specialists.
Participants in the MCLTRG include:
- Disaster relief organizations
- Faith-based organizations
- Fund raising organizations
- Governmental entities
- Service agencies
